Despite
the liquor
i
thought
as
the bottle of beer
cascaded
off
my legs
on
a bus
on
my way to
the
gym
to
shrink my gut
to
decrease the
risk
of cancer
the
pictures of
Mars
reminded
me
of the red
clay
of Georgian
soil
i
thought of
contrasting
colors
how
marvelous
the
landscape will look
the
translucent
domes
of resin
filled
with
row
upon row of
trees.
filling
the world
and
humanity
with
oxygen
the
beauty of the
land
mixed with
the
green astronauts
of
Earth
planted in the rich
red
soil of
Mars
Life
continues
no matter what
